Structure of the Workshop
-
The structure of the workshop was a "studio" in this sense: students were
introduced to a new idea, then asked to explore the idea in a creative
way--that is, to use the idea to make something meaningful to them. Their
first products were discussed, and the common vocabulary and understanding
of possibilities and limitations enriched. Then students spent a large
amount of time making a "finished product" using the ideas raised during
that day's work.

-
